How the Exchange works

The following procedures can be undertaken by your own company messenger, or if your prefer PDX despatchers will do the collecting, scanning, and clearing of the letter boxes on your behalf. For details, speak to our sales team.


Each document carries a PDX bar-coded label A bar-coded PDX label must be attached to each outgoing item.
Arriving at the exchange centre Items are brought to the Exchange Centre.
Scanner & Screen The despatcher or messenger, as well as each item, is scanned into the centre.
Dropping documents into recipients' boxes Items are dropped into the recipients' boxes.
Your own box is opened and incoming items collected Your own box is opened and your incoming items collected.
Scanner & Screen The despatcher or messenger, as well as each item, is scanned out of the centre.
Returning to the office with the incoming mail Items are returned to your  offices.
